Comb-Cor®

Comb-Cor® replaces less enviromentally friendly products such as various extruded polystyrene foam core products in the market. The board has been devloped by creating layers of different corrugated flutes in between heavy papers which make it extremely lightweight but very rigid. This helps to maintain a perfectly flat board, makes it easy to cut with standard cutting tools, and it is breathable. At 5mm (1/5") thick and a standard sheet size of 91.5 x 122cm (36" x 48") it is suitable for backings supporting large works of art such as graphics which can be directly mounted.

Comb-Cor^TM is available in 2 options. Firstly Comb-Cor^TM MK1 with traditional white clay coated liner paper on both sides (as fome-Cor) or Comb-Cor^TM MK3 with a water resistant Kraft liner coating on the reverse which helps prevent moisture getting into the back of the frame.
